SyncView Plus - Complete Synchronization Management System

SyncView™ PLUS is a powerful Synchronisation Management System that allows telecom operators to manage your synchronization elements from a single point and optionally enables control at regional levels. The system offers a user-friendly graphical interface with network and element views.

SyncView™ PLUS supports all of Brandywine's synchronization equipment line of products provided with management interface. All functionalities are fully supported by the graphical interface. For third party equipment integration, please consult factory.

SyncView

Flexible Architecture
SyncView™ PLUS is based on a client/server architecture. Multiple client applications can be connected to a server to allow access to applications such as network browser, alarm list and performance management.

The Database as well as the Communication server can be independent from the rest of the system and therefore can be installed for example in a secure RAID server to ensure reliability of the system. It is possible to configure SyncView™ PLUS either with a database or directly connected to the equipment.

SyncView™ PLUS provides full Fault, Configuration, Performance and Security management.

Fault Management
Fault Management handles the collection and processing of alarm messages, status data, events and other information from the elements. It also enables consolidation and prioritisation of data, filtering of alarm listings and presentation of data, to alert the system administrators of any problems in the synchronisation network.

Configuration Management
Configuration Management provides control over all available functions across the synchronisation systems connected, enabling reconfiguration, restoration and other operating functions. Access to all operations or actions depend on the profile of the user.

Performance Management
Performance data coming from managed elements capable of performance measurements are collected simultaneously on all input references, over predefined periods. SyncView™ PLUS Performance Management correlates data relating to the performance of the synchronisation systems to evaluate short and long term trends as well as potential problems in the network. It also generates MTIE, TDEV and frequency graphs for comparison with international standards such as ITU-T or ETSI.

Security Management
Each user is allocated a Security Management profile. The profile controls the actions that a user may perform and the elements upon which these actions can be performed. SyncView™ PLUS provides five user-configurable authority levels.

OS platform and data base support
SyncView™ PLUS is based on the latest Windows platform. More precisely, SyncView™ NG server feature a Windows 2003 Server OS and SQL Express DB, while SyncView™ PLUS Clients are based on XP Professional.
