Single CMC size PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC), 32-bit interface

Brandywine Communication's model PMC-SyncClock32 is a single CMC size PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC). The 32-bit interface provides time from microseconds through years. The SYNCCLOCK acts as a time code reader and/or time code generator that is synchronized to an external source of time, such as IRIG A, IRIG B, IRIG G, NASA36 or Have Quick Time Code. Time can also be obtained from an optional on-board GPSS receiver.

Time synchronization can be achieved by simply reading the time registers, using the SYNCCLOCK card to generate periodic interrupts, or latch the time of an external event.
