If your computer is a member of a domain, your computer clock is likely synchronized automatically by the server for your domain. If you wish to synchronize the computer clock to a diifferent time source, such as a model NTP80 Network Time server, this must be done using the command prompt screen
Open the Command Prompt Screen ( Programs/Accessories/Command Prompt)
Enter the command below where XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is the IP address of the NTP server
C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\> net time /setsntp:XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
The command completed successfully.
C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\>
Verify the result by typing
C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\> net time /querysntp
The current SNTP value is: 192.168.1.50
